The pen offers a good and consistent flow and can keep up with fast writing. It features a #6 size (big) nib that looks great and is compatible with any 3.4 mm international standard converter or cartridge, including long cartridges of the same diameter. Both the build quality and quality control are impressive. The pen is fairly lightweight, and the grip section is moderately thick, making it comfortable to write with. I wish the pen were slightly heavier.
It is a wet writer, producing adequately wet lines that do not feather or bleed. I tested it on 70 GSM inkjet printer paper, and there was no see-through (great), and the writing experience was excellent. There were no feathering or bloating either. The pen’s lines were slightly finer, falling between medium and fine compared to Western Medium, even though it had a Medium nib. This is beneficial for mathematical works requiring fine details. The pen has an elegant appearance (some resemblance to Parker Duofold comes to mind) and looks good overall, making it worth the money.
It comes with two cartridges and a high-quality converter that includes a spring vibrator to help clear any bubbles. I’m not sure about the ink colour of the supplied cartridges, but the pen itself looks good and writes phenomenally well. I used a Hauser 2XL cartridge with blue ink that I had at my disposal. Now I understand why this pen is cherished among fountain pen connoisseurs worldwide. If you’re looking for a good-looking fountain pen that also writes reliably, look no further; just try it for yourself and experience the magic! 👍👍
PS: It’s made in India, so there’s no need to look at Germany, the United States, Japan, or China. Believe it or not, it blows all foreign-made pens out of the water.
